A community conversation on how Utah's courts can help overcome language and cultural barriers to provide better access to justice will be held on Thursday in Ogden.
The event — at the Marshall White Center, 222 28th Street — will begin with refreshments at 5:30 p.m.
At 6 p.m., the Utah Courts Self-Help Center and the Utah Courts Language Access Program will give presentations. After that, a panel of judges and legal experts will discuss current court services and challenges.
A court-certified Spanish interpreter will be available during the event.
El jueves, 9 de Junio, en Ogden se realizará una conversación comunitaria sobre cómo los tribunales de Utah pueden ayudar a superar las barreras del idioma y la cultura con el fin de proveer mejor acceso a la justicia.
